STAINES & LAMMAS (MIDDLESEX) U23R (0) 0 FARNHAM TOWN UNDER 23 / DEVELOPMENT (1) 1
Unfortunately Wraysbury Village Development pulled out of the proposed fixture, but new opponents were found from Farnham Town.
The visitors began well, hitting the bar on 12 minutes, and then taking the lead direct from a well-struck free kick by their triallist 5 minutes later. The Blues came back into the game well, and Sankoh saw a curling shot touched round for a corner by former Swans Academy ‘keeper Woodcock.
Early in the second half, Belahcene was unfortunate to see his shot come back off the upright, and Woodcock pulled off a brave double save to deny Cowley. But Farnham could have added a second 13 minutes from time, Cane keeping out Fahy’s powerful drive.
