Englefield Green-based Manorcroft provided strong opposition, getting off to a blistering start by capitalising on a sloppy early free kick, and adding a second goal from the penalty spot on 10 minutes. Another penalty made it 0-3 on 20 minutes, and there were three more goals for the visitors after the interval.

Manorcroft listed their scorers as Trialist #17 (hat-trick), Trialist #14, Trialist #11, and an own goal. Rather harshly perhaps, Gilchrist was booked for a foul, and when collecting a second caution for a foul he was dismissed on 67 minutes.
