STAINES & LAMMAS (MIDDLESEX) Res/U23 (2) 3 KEENS PARK RANGERS Res (1) 2
Lamar Besidonne’s injury-hit side returned to the top of the table with a hard-fought win over Keens Park Rangers. Harry Watson (15 mins) and Jason Sapsford (27 min) put them two up, but the visitors pulled one back on 32 mins through Sammy Bristow.
George Gilchrist got the all-important third on 65 mins, but a second Bristow goal ensured they could not take anything for granted over the final 11 minutes, especially as a second yellow card for encroachment by Cooper saw the hosts down to 10 men for the final quarter hour.
