Making the short trip to the Lucan Pavilion were a team who have roots in the former Staines Lammas Youth set-up, which broke away from the parent club several seasons back. Laleham & Kempton are members of the Guildford & Woking Alliance.

Both teams deserve a lot of credit for keeping up an entertaining and hard-fought match in sweltering conditions, and it was perhaps fitting that honours were shared as neither could break the deadlock.
